I visited Croatia for the first time one year ago — May, to be exact — and had such an amazing time I knew I had to come back with my love. I think Dubrovnik may be one of my most favorite places in the world. It feels so old, romantic and rare, like you’ve just stepped into an old storybook.

One more day and night here then we’re back in London!

Such purity, untouched beauty and friendly people.

Croatia beyond exceeded my expectations. 2.5 weeks traveling solo; a yoga retreat, meditating, clear seas, hopping from buses to trains, wonderful sights. It was beautiful and so much fun!

Met some amazing souls along the way and shared many heart to hearts. I’m so grateful for this journey and the things I learned in just a short time.

While I was doing some sightseeing in the drizzly early morning of Zagreb, I take out my map to look for the cathedral. An elderly woman walks towards me and asks with a smile if I need directions. She points me to the way as she explains, I stare into her crystal blue eyes and the warm etchings around them, thank her and we go our separate ways. I must have taken 4 steps and when I turn around to take one more glance of her, she is nowhere to be found. How odd! It makes me feel warm inside.

I walk around the damp streets with my earphones in, listening to piano sounds and slow slow beautiful chords that add a certain nostalgia to my senses. It is like listening to a soundtrack of a movie, the movie playing right before you, the people walking and moving almost in slow motion.

After a week of being in NYC and Washington DC working and eating a lot of carbs, I just landed in Zagreb and will be traveling down. Cant wait to explore this country!
