We are raised to feel embarrassed for asking for too much, wanting more, apologizing for thinking too large–especially women. We make our wishes and our dreams smaller so we don’t make others uncomfortable.

I wasn’t raised to dream big. It was immediately pushed away as being frivolous and impossible. I spent my whole life, so far, fitting in just enough so I didn’t stand out. I spent it holding most of my dreams inside so as to not appear foolish. For making others uncomfortable.

How true is that statement: “Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle,” for they have dulled their own in fear of shining. It happens far too often and so many of us are squishing our dreams inside the deepest part of ourselves, unreleased and slowly losing shine.

Never feel ashamed for wanting, for dreaming beyond imagination. Remember, imagination is more important than observation. This is not just an open letter to you, as much as it is for me. Feel proud when you tell others what you desire. Because those who do sparkle will be attracted to yours.

Last weekend, my friend and I attended a life changing Abraham Hicks workshop. We had been anxiously waiting for the event, getting more excited with each passing week. And finally the day came! We LOVED it.

I love Abraham. They say what I’ve been feeling for years. Happiness is our natural born right. We are here to thrive and to get everything we desire. Sometimes we pick up old beliefs along the way that don’t serve us–I realize that those are not our true selves or from love. I don’t believe when people say “no one’s really 100% happy in their relationship” or “it sucks getting older.” Those are not my beliefs. SPARKLE!

In this journey, wherever we go is all part of the journey. Every step, every fall back, every turn;  it’s all meant to happen. My 20s have been for the most part discovering what makes ME happy and exploring all the different roads I could take. It doesnt mean I’m falling far back from anyone else because this is where I’m suppose to be. I’ve learned that we can dive into all different kinds of career paths, people and places; just go. And love every bit of it.

Last night was spent meditating, visualizing and reflecting on the past year with gratitude. Growing up I was never raised to dream big or to achieve what was unimaginable to some. It is something I have really trained myself to do by working through the learned behaviors that held/hold me back. When you look at your life and the tangible things you have, the emotions that come to you are the signals whether you have what you want or don’t. Dream BIG and really believe you deserve it. The universe is so vast and everything you can ever dream of already exists, it is only waiting for you to match up with it vibrationally. And always be grateful…being here is already the gift. Happy new year everyone 💓💓💓

Don’t doubt those feelings that you feel in your gut when someone doesn’t wish you well and doesn’t believe in you. Believe in yourself and be the stronger person by being kind but pulling away from them and move toward those who appreciate who you are now, who you’ll be in the future and especially who you were in the past. Appreciate those who are proud of your desires and growth and stay away from those who are not. It has taken me awhile to learn this and to finally have the strength to protect myself but now I am able to love those who give me light even harder, put that energy in my soul and receive the gifts the universe has been waiting to give. There is so much we are capable of receiving, we just need to learn how to outgrow that which we hold onto.

What is ours is already ours.

Rumi has written, “what you are seeking is already seeking you.”

It is no accident when you feel a calling so deeply, when something is strongly pulling you to a place that feels familiar, it is already yours.

Our ego seems to be tricky — to want what it wants and if we are not mindful enough in our selves, we confuse the ego’s desires as our own. I believe even that in itself is not wrong. It deters us off our path but we surely needed it for its lessons.

And eventually, our soul’s pull brings us back and we see again with new eyes.

Anytime something feels wrong, it doesn’t feel painful anymore. I know it is my mind responding, letting me know how my soul is feeling. It is amazing how our body, mind and soul always works in our favor.

forever connected.

The most powerful person is the one who knows the truth.

The truth about who they are and what they want. One who can envision their life and can make the choice to be surrounded by what they are naturally drawn to. One who trusts their instincts and allows their heart to lead the way.

I believe people who know their own flaws and insecurities don’t deter easily. There is rarely any jealousy and envy of others because they know what they want and have faith that their path has its own rhythmical timing. There is no longer a need to compare, a need to belittle others or compete.

Know your own truth. Be brave enough to question yourself and really hear your answers. That is the best advice ever given to me.
